'이승엽 역전 2점포' 한국, 아시아 정상(종합)

나는 야구에는 별 관심이 없고 잘 알지도 못하지만 방금까지 본 WBC 한일전은 정말 재미있었다.
일단 친구 말을 들어보면 한국이나 일본이나 경기 결과에 상관없이 대회 탈락이 아니라지만 여튼 "한일전"인 만큼 양국의 자존심이 걸려있는 대결이라 손에 땀을 쥐게 했다.

8회 초까지는 일본이 2:1로 앞서고 있었으나 이승엽이 2점 홈런을 쳐 3:2로 대역전을 할 수 있었다. 이승엽은 그전에 계속 부진한 플레이를 보여주어 네이버의 네티즌 투표 워스트 1위를 차지하고 있었는데 이 홈런이후 워스트는 물론이고 베스트까지 1위를 하게 되었다.

학교 친구들과 서클실에 모여 이번에 후배들에게 서클 홍보를 하기 위한 포스터 제작에 대한 토의를 하다가 결국에는 다 같이 야구를 보게 되었는데 문자중계에서 이승엽이 2점 홈런을 쳤다는 내용이 나오자 모두들 환호했다.

야구에서 한국이 일본에게 30년 뒤진다던 이치로의 말은 9회말 나온 박찬호의 공에 이치로가 3루 플라이 아웃되면서 개밥 신세가 되었다. 이치로가 레이저 송구 동영상을 보면서 대단한 사람이구나 했지만 오늘만큼은 큰 활약을 하지 못했다. 문자중계 창에 이치로 3루 플라이 아웃이 뜨는 순간 아주 시원했다.

이번에 이긴 것은 일본 감독의 실수가 컸다고 생각한다. 9회초 나와서 우리 타자 모두를 삼진시킨 오츠카의 활약이 대단했지만 이미 8회에 이승엽의 홈런은 나오고야 말았기 때문이다. 구대성도 잘했고 박찬호도 정말 잘했다. 이진영이 다이빙 캐치로 큰 실점을 막은 것도 정말 대단했다. 잡지 못했으면 경기가 5:0이 되어 완전히 기울었을텐데 다행인 일이다.
