WBC, 일본에게 지는 중

저번 일본과의 경기에서 극적으로 3:2 승을 하고 그 후로도 한번 2:1 승을 했지만 한국의 WBC 6연승은 여기서 깨지나 보다. 예선에선 대만, 중국, 일본을 그리고 8강에서는 멕시코, 미국, 일본을 차례로 꺾었으나 4강 일본전에서 현재 8회초 우천으로 경기가 지연되고 있다.
우리나라 투수들과 타자들을 질타하는 일부 네이버 댓글을 보면 우리나라 사람들이 한심하단 생각도 든다. 선수들에 대한 욕 뿐만 아니라 병역 혜택을 준 것이 잘못됬다는 소리도 한다. 어디선가 보았는데 이번 WBC에 대한 우리나라의 응원은 응원이 아니란다. 응원은 이기기 전에 선수들의 힘을 북돋아주는 것이지 이기고 나서 그것을 격려하는 것이 아니라는 것이다. 동감한다. 한국 사람들은 흔히들 냄비 근성을 가졌다고 한다. 물론 다른나라의 사람들은 그렇지 않고 우리나라만 그렇다는 것은 아니지만 이런 말을 들을 정도의 행동은 좀 자제했으면 좋겠다.
확실히 투수 서재응이 교체되고 나서부터 흐름이 깨진 것 같다. 물론 2루 주자가 있어 위험을 느끼고 교체한 것이겠지만 투수의 잦은 교체, 그리고 김병현이 홈런을 맞고 나서 보인 불안정함 등이 이번 실점을 초래했다고 생각한다. 곧 경기가 재개된다. 만일 이기지 못하게 된더라도 우리나라 선수들이 최선을 다하는 모습을 보고싶다.

친구와 내기를 해서 일본이 이기면 천원을 받는다. 한국이 이기든 일본이 이기든 기분좋으려고 그랬는데, 지금 분위기대로 일본이 이기게 된다면 내기에서 이겨도 조금 씁쓸할 것이다.
